A beautifully designed, contemporary working kitchen and living space, using the Second Nature Mornington Shaker door range in Dove Grey & Graphite, complemented by the snowy mountain white quartz worktops.
This is a stunning room with elevated ceilings exposed beams and Velux windows created in a barn conversion.
In Frame 1909 Ovolo Hartforth Blue & Graphite

The latest addition to our portfolio a beautiful & timeless in-frame Kitchen. The Ovolo door is a classic shaker within an elegant beaded frame.
The sophisticated 19th century colour palette of hartforth blue and graphite adds warmth whilst the mixture of antique bronze and pewter handles, hinges and taps gives it a vintage look. The lightly marbled white quartz tops add light and definition to the whole kitchen, together with the stunning Barcelona antique mirror splash back with the disrupted reflection adding depth and space as well as giving the room a real focal point. The light herringbone timber floor adds a natural texture and beauty and gives the impression of more space.
There is a large double bowl sink in the main island with a British handmade Perrin & Rowe living aged brass boiling tap and soap dispenser perfect for food preparation and hygiene, designed to be in the centre of the kitchen, whilst the social-able seating is keeping the work area clear of guests and family. Either side of the sink there is a Wi-Fi enabled dishwasher with Zeolith mineral drying system and a pull out recycling waste system.
Drinks are also important whether a coffee or tea, wine or champagne it’s all catered for in this design, the separate Kohler champagne sink, with Quooker boiling tap incorporating the cube providing chilled cold and sparkling water all set to one side away from the preparation and cooking area means other guests and family members can help themselves whilst creating your culinary delights. A wine cooler is built into the fridge, and scalloped bottle racks for that precious red wine are incorporated into the dresser with an additional built under fridge & freezer in the dresser.
The NEFF Wi-Fi & touch control cooking appliance gives multiple options with a full size slide and hide oven with built in meat probe and bake sensor, combination microwave oven and combination steam oven balanced with two 14cm warming drawers joined with the seamless combination strips . A 90cm Wi-Fi enabled five zone induction hob with twist pad fire control incorporating a perfect fry sensor and two flex induction zones which can also be used as triple zones like an Aga. The canopy extractor is cleverly ducted through the plastered mantle and light boxing to the side to take those smells and moisture away.
Organisation of storage is important in any kitchen, what you don’t see behind the doors in these pictures is the tall pull out tandem larder on the left hand side of the fridge that we have recessed into the wall with the fridge/freezer. There are two corner cupboards either side of the hob which have lemans pull out shelves, there’s several sets of pull out drawers in three different heights each taking 30 kilos in weight. The pantry has the quartz top running through it with bi fold pantry doors and a power socket making this an ideal area for Mixers and other appliances to be stored and used. The glass door dressers with solid shelves make a feature of those cook books and glassware.
Another major part of the design was the lighting, the original recessed ceiling lights were removed and replaced with smaller directional spots just in front the kitchen furniture doors to bring out the beauty and richness of the colours in the evening. New vintage lighting was installed over the island and a new pendant light over the coffee table. Remote control LED up lights, down lights and display lighting was installed with pre-sets for different times and moods of the day. Most drawers, pull out corner and tall cupboards have motion sensor lighting.
The customer has then dressed the room with a new sofa, coffee table, rug, stools & soft furnishings with family pictures and accessories to make this a truly sumptuous and personable kitchen and social area for the whole family to enjoy.

Recently finished 1909 in-frame kitchen finished in Dove Grey & Slate with Avignon granite tops. Incorporating: a Rangemaster Professional Deluxe Dual fuel range cooker, Franke V&B under mount sinks, Franke 4 in 1 boiling tap, Siemens combi oven & warming drawer, Bosch side by side fridge freezer & dishwasher.
This is a beautiful design full of features from the stepped plastered mantle with shelf, glass wall units, contrasting island with oak breakfast bar and the wine cooler and open shelves.

A true minimalist kitchen featuring Kitchen Stori Strada doors with integrated j-handle in matt light grey.
By adding Getalit 23mm Metal Versicolour work surfaces, fabulous Neff built in appliances and a glass splash back we have produced a kitchen that is sleek, efficient and very luxurious.
What was once an ugly boiler is now hidden behind a custom display cabinet with its flue behind an accessible panel. It’s there and can be serviced properly, you just can’t see it!

By taking out the dinning room & utility walls we have created a lovely large open and bright space which has allowed the use of a modern rich looking Graphite door, together with Samsung Mount Blanc Snow quartz worktops, Neff induction hob, angled chimney, slide and hide oven, combination oven, warming drawer, Franke under-mount stainless steel sink & ISE hot tap.
Now a multifunction room using all the space with a dinning area, breakfast bar island, central wall mounted television, designer radiators. The customer has added additional texture and warmth with the wood flooring, ambient lights & blinds, Gorgeous !

Completed in 2018 is this delightful 1909 Slab Painted kitchen, finished in Porcelain and Cornflower Blue.
To be found in the beautiful Peak District, this property has undergone extensive renovation and needed a special kitchen to finish a wonderful project.
The mix of modern and traditional, clever built in appliances and range cooking, Quartz and Prime Oak work surfaces, the must have boiling water tap and undercount sink.
The result is a kitchen that looks stunning, totally in-keeping with it’s surroundings and that will be enjoyed for many years.

Second Nature Langham Painted Damson Kitchen & Milbourne Oak Utility

Langham is a beautiful solid timber shaker door which is hand finished in a variety of different colours. Here, in striking Damson and complemented with stunning Corian worktops and moulded upstands. The Oak round breakfast bar is skilfully cut into the Corian worktop, giving that lovely contrast between ultra modern and traditional materials.
The utility room has Second Nature Milbourne Oak doors and a fabulous stainless steel belfast sink. Striking tiling completes the look.
Second Nature Cornell Oak and Cornell Classic Kitchen
Transformed in September 2012
The brief: Remove walls between kitchen and dining room, kitchen and day room, day room and dining room. Re plumb utilities to their new positions and re-wire the electrics as required. To widen doorway and install wooden French doors between kitchen and living room. Plaster whole room including coving and fit LED ceiling downlights.
The fun bit: To install lovely Cornell Oak cabinets with Impala granite worktops and a professional range cooker with custom built mantle over. To contrast the natural oak there is an island unit in Cornell alabaster with solid oak worktop.
The end result: Well, you decide! We think it is one of the most stunning transformations we have done!
